Last weekend, Video Volunteers sponsored and produced a free training for people in Goa about Community Media-style production on Smartphone devices. The training provided a spectrum of information, ranging from film production processes to social media promotion of awareness on social issues. All aspects of the training were Goa-specific, in the sense that attendees were from Goa, and the issues they seek to create storytelling around are also Goa based: mining, reckless development, infrastructure, etc. Here are some photos and materials from the training.
